　　心有千千结。水晶般的一串串白花，便是那春天慵睡佳人的珠帘，在北方每当春回大地，丁香花便不甘寂寞，也会兴致匆匆竟相开放，把他那扑扑幽香散发在人间，她迎接春光的脚步不让报春花，成了第一批受到欢迎的春的使者。丁香花色繁多有紫色，红色，白色等在没有梅雨的六月里散发着香水般芳菲的气息。丁香的呼吸多么芬芳，星儿象一团金蜂一样，在紫兰色的天空里，发出战战兢兢的微光。

　　雍容华贵。牡丹的雍容华贵，婀娜多姿，委实令人心醉神迷。光浏览芳名，诸如"醉扬妃"，"粉西施""娇容三变""飞燕红装""玉楼香""二乔"等等，便可知人们怎样奇思妙想要把她比作天上人间的绝代佳人了。有关牡丹的奇闻轶事甚多，最为人所传诵的有：武则天在长安游后苑时，见百花俱开，独牡丹不放，一怒之下将牡丹贬至洛阳。可谪居洛阳的牡丹"不持芳姿艳质足压群芳而劲骨刚心尤高出万卉"反倒因此名扬四海了。牡丹的雅号"天香国色"。明清两代，以毫州和曹州牡丹驰名中外。庭院深深，异香一片来天上。傲香迟致，百卉皆推让。忆昔西都，姚魏声名旺。堪惆怅，醉翁何往，谁与花标榜？

　　美人睡春，自尊自爱，海棠花妖娆艳丽"其花甚丰，其叶甚茂，其枝甚柔，望之绰如处女"因之被人誉为"花中神仙"。海棠是美的，可是这美的倩影中又是丰富多彩的，雨中何姿，月下何态，欲开何色，清秋何情？在诗人的笔下，那就更加婀娜多姿了，海棠花荣耀于花坛是在宋真宗以后品种越来越繁，诸如贴梗海棠，垂丝海棠，西府海棠等，不同品种争娇斗艳，如垂丝海棠群怡倒悬，在绿叶间时隐时现，宛然少女掩面，依依如有意，脉脉不得语，甚是迷人，而西府海棠则姿态潇洒，落落大方，光彩灼目，不同凡响，海棠虽美艳无比，但却懂得自尊自爱。枝间新绿一重重，小蕾深藏一点红。爱惜芳心莫轻吐，且教桃李闹春风。

　　情有所钟。芍药的名贵仅次于花王牡丹，但他成名却要比牡丹早的多，芍药花容卓约，姿色美艳，观其各类品种的芳名，诸如"紫玉奴""西施粉""冠群芳""叠香英""御衣香"等等。芍药有四十余种，其名贵品种有"金带围"特点是花瓣多，粉红色，中有金钱围腰"黄芍药"花瓣多，深鹅黄色；"观音面"花瓣多水红色；"胭脂点玉"花瓣多且硕大，各瓣串有紫红色线点；"金玉交辉"花瓣多且大，水红色，中间夹有一些小黄线瓣"玉盘托翠"白花绿心。芍药迄今已有三千多年或更久的历史了。且男女相爱，增朵芍药，故此，文人雅士称她为多情花，目前世界上芍药品种已将近千种，都是十九世纪初由我国传到英美后培植出来的。
