　　初恋。玫瑰的总体象征是美，爱，恋。白花表示恋情，诚心相爱；红花则是贞洁，艳丽的意思；黄花则表示嫉妒不贞，所以送花时应对不同的花色含义区别清楚，十五世纪英国发生了一场长达三十多年的战争.玫瑰是英国的国花，当时互相敌对的王族约克家族和兰加斯特家族为了争夺王位彼此攻杀，兰加斯特家族以红玫瑰为徽章，约克家族则以白玫瑰为标志。因此这场长期的流血战争在历史上被叫做"玫瑰战争"。

花与诗　十五　［茉　莉］
　　内向，相思病。茉莉花清白雅稚，花山秀丽，冰姿玉蕊，浓香馥丽，茉莉是一千二百多年前从波斯湾沿岸的印度和伊朗引进的在没有香水之前，茉莉一直是女性的宠物，古代妇女不但用她来蒸液作面脂泽发润肤，且常常放置枕边，挂在床上，摆在岸几，为使香随人转朝朝萦绕左右，正如古诗所言"一卉能熏一室香，炎天犹觉玉肌凉，野人不敢烦天女，自折琼枝置枕旁。

花与诗　十六　［迎春花］
　　相爱到永远。在早春季节，当园林和田野依然乍暖还寒，万籁俱寂的时候，唯有迎春花纤枝婆娑，点点金黄，美丽的花朵竟相开放。飘飘的白雪与黄色的花瓣交相辉映，人们与严寒中会蓦然想到：啊！春天已经来临了。迎春不单具有菊花那种傲霜斗寒，凌雪竟放，更具有争春不骄谦逊，菊花芳姿婀娜，挺拔不群，迎春却植根与岩隙，青草之中，淡雅素妆，朴实无华，而为大地迎来百花齐放的春天。金英翠萼带春寒，黄色花中有几般，凭君语向游人道，莫作蔓菁花眼看。

　　楚楚动人。杜鹃，花鸟同名，在百花中亦属罕见。杜鹃又名映山红，其花或白或红，或黄或紫，叠锦堆秀，艳美缤纷，人们喜爱杜鹃，因为她能给人类带来美好幸福的憧憬，她是吉祥如意的象征。杜鹃的品种全世界有近800种，有著名的云锦杜鹃、石岩杜鹃、毛白杜鹃、黄杜鹃、锦绣杜鹃，她们香味淡雅、红艳夺目、灿烂如锦，确实娟美非凡。闲折两枝间在手，细看不似人间有。花中此物是西施，芙蓉芍药皆嫫母。
