花与诗 十一 ［ 水　仙 ］
　　自尊自爱。水仙冰心粉色，叶幽兰香，茎叶挺秀，芳姿绰约，在岁暮天寒，花事阑珊之际，开出冰肌玉质的花朵，飘逸芬芳淡雅的清香，实是令人心旷神贻。水仙有许多美名：如雅客、玉玲珑、俪兰、女史花、凌波仙子。宜春水仙花繁目大，花期长，花蕊香郁，水仙花不仅是国内人民十分喜爱的名花，而且是海外华侨喜爱的年花，每逢新春都用水仙来寄托思念之情。1981年香港一家珠宝店为迎接鸡年，用七名花匠，八百株水仙，一个月时间耗资五千美元雕砌了一只"水仙鸡"。凌波仙子生尘袜，水上轻盈步微月，是谁招此断肠魂，种作寒花寄愁绝。

花与诗　十二　［莲　花］
　　清纯高洁。夏日炎炎，人乏蝉鸣，你若信步三世畔，必会被那亭亭玉立于碧波之上的袅袅红莲，田田荷叶所陶醉，那沁人心脾的清香，更会使你心旷神怡，平添惬意。荷花在我国也是历史最悠久的花卉，其栽培史可追溯的六千年前左右，传说农历六月二十四日是荷花生日。荷花那出污泥而不染的精神实在让人称赞。莲的同族支系庞杂，大至亚马逊荷，荷叶直径二点五米，可乘一个小孩的王莲，小到植于碗中的碗莲，其中一蒂双花的并蒂莲，三花四心的品字莲，心及碧莲，紫莲的等尤为绝色。荷叶罗裙一色裁，芙蓉何脸两边开，乱入池中看不见，闻歌始觉有人来。

花与诗　十三　［百　合］
　　
　　百事合心。百合得人喜爱，原因有三：其一，百合花有三宝，色，香，蜜无一可谓集众芳之长；其二春去无芳，独艳山崖，不与异常花卉争艳；品格高节；其三它既是观赏名卉，又是珍贵的中药和蔬菜，因此百合历代被视为花中之宝。百合有百片合成之意，是我国传统名花，亦是世界名花。世界上的百合有八十多种，大多以地域命名如川百合，滇百合，大理百合，澜江百合。姿色最美的是卷丹。

山川的春雨，
艳色照庭除，
末品何曾教，
群芳自不如。
